The Walking Dead is back

They promised us to depict how it was possible that this lame ass Zombies could take over. And: "Five days later" or what was it; they lied to us as the show runner of Lost did. Hence the show was dead to me.

Yeah: machines guns have no effect on them as shown when they overun the medical facility their useless son was kept in. I'm a former paratrooper who was trained especially as machine gun operator - a key doctrine of the German Fallschirmjägertruppe - and machine guns have an effect on human tissue.  Or parts like: an army troop has everything under control for days, goes  into a house, then,  you only hear screams and all are dead or fleeing in panic...sure.
Highly trained and experienced soldier who know the drill vs. these lame ass zombies. Of course they don't show us what actually happens in the building.

But still in season six(?) - the Negan one - they go for super markets raids in t-shirts, no riots suits albeit they had access to them since the prison arc. And again: it is their stupidity that drives the plot, not the dangerous nature of these Zombies. You can use noise and light to manipulate them with ease. In season two with the governor they used traps of this kind...only to have zombies for their arena games, instead if clearing the area of them. What a setting of priorities?!


Ok, it is only a TV show, but a really stupid one, and even as zombie fan you are done with this constant stupidity at a certain point.
