A truly great and very underrated late 80s buddy-cop action film, one I believe had the potential of getting a promising sequel, but I guess that never were to happen, sadly.
Still, a solid score by Faltermeyer (as usual), lots of familiar faces and names, a hot as hell, young Teri Hatcher and then to close it of with a classic uplifting power rock ballad, just to make sure for the viewers, that "yes, you are watching an 80s action film".
