For old dudes like me, Michigan-Illinois is THE game. Two REAL centers playing one another: 7'1" Hunter Dickinson vs 7'0" Kofi Cockburn. Not a three pointer between the two of them - - two guys who play in the post, snatch rebounds, and shoot three feet or closer to the basket. A matchup from the 1970s or 1980s here in 2021! i still don't get the Illinois hype. no way they get past the sweet 16 Recently, their top scorer Dosunmu has been out, so they haven't been as consistent. Basically they play four guards and Cockburn. They fascinate me - - I'm rooting for them.
