what is the story with the cellophane S that Superman rips off his chest and throws at the bad guy? ...Or the laser beams from the fingers, or the throwing the bad guys into some misty pit and they're gone, etc. etc. At that point Superman was taken over by people who didn't know what to do with Superman so they just threw in whatever. It's Superman, not "I can anything to move the story along" man. I prefer the "super kiss" in the Lester cut, however silly that may be, over reversing the world to turn back time again in the Donner cut.
