Anyway, I thought of a better comparison for Curry. Frogs favorite, Jeff Hornacek. Good player, an all star even. But not a generation talent in a league that doesn't bend over backwards for his particular skillset.
I think Bird was a very good player - I just don't think he's as great as everybody makes him out to be.
I think Pippen was a good player - but pretty much the same - take Jordan away - and that's what he is - a good player. Nothing more nothing less
And I do think Embiid would be 'Elite' in the time of the Dream Team Centers
