I think Bird was a very good player - I just don't think he's as great as everybody makes him out to be.
I think Pippen was a good player - but pretty much the same - take Jordan away - and that's what he is - a good player. Nothing more nothing less
And I do think Embiid would be 'Elite' in the time of the Dream Team Centers
He's played 238 games in his career 
You can't just make a blanket statement like that when this is pretty much his 5th year playing - it's a team game too
It's not just Embiid out there on the court - it's a 5 on 5 game
We have to see how his career unfolds to make that statement
Patrick Ewing never won a title. What does that say about him? Dan Marino, Allen Iverson, Charles Barkley - the list goes on and on - does this mean they were not Elite players? Because they got bounced in the playoffs?
