A shock would be if Aberdeen or any other team in Scotland won the league instead of Rangers or Celtic.
In historical context it isn't, but after a decade and bankruptcy and having to come up from League 2 and being clearly the third best team their first couple of years back in the top flight and just how far they seemed to be behind Celtic even 12 months ago it's a bit unexpected.
Similar story in Primiera Liga this year: Sporting winning is no surprise historically, but after a near 20 year drought, during which they were 4th best (behind Boavista in the 00s and Braga in the 10s) several times it's a pleasant surprise.
