Oh, I really love this one a lot. What I always admired about it is was how genuinely loving the relationship between Robin Williams and Nathan Lane seemed. At a time when gay characters were still largely either vilified or treated as clowns, this movie takes what should be two paper-thin, flamboyant stereotypes and treats them as real human beings and never once questions the idea that they could've successfully raised a child. It (and certainly La Cage aux Folles before it) was kinda ahead of its time in a way.
