I spent maybe 3 weeks on this mock. Let me know, did I fuck your team up? Would you be happy with these selections? Who do you think got shafted by not being a first round pick? What I'm reading, which means absolutely nothing for the Patriots, Belichick will likely skip a QB in the first round because the good ones will be gone. Select a WR or defensive gamebreaker of a guy who can line up multiple positions. BB will likely take some project QB, yet again, in the 3rd or 4th round, & try to acquire Jacoby Brissett. TE Kyle Pitts is the lottery win for this draft, alas I don't think 14 teams are stupid enough to pass ahead of them. I see Russell Wilson has listed the Saints, Cowboys, Bears, or Raiders as destinations. Is that the first time in history a HOF QB has greenlit the Bears? Noooo!!!! WRs drafted by the Patriots since 2010: 2010 Taylor Price (out of the league 2012 Jeremy Ebert (out of the league) 2013 Aaron Dobson (out of the league) 2013 Josh Boyce (out of the league) 2014 Jeremy Gallon (out of the league) 2016 Malcolm Mitchell (out of the league) 2016 Devin Lucien (out of the league) 2018 Braxton Berrios (now playing for NYJ) 2019 N'Keal Harry (sucks) WRs drafted by the Patriots since 2010: Fewest in the league in receptions, receiving yards, receiving TDs, 100 yd receiving games. And they had Brady at QB! His best bet is to sign a quality WR, because like many positions, he can't evaluate it for shit. Besides, we all know he's going to trade down to take a hybrid safety out of Division III Nowhere State University to prove how much of an outside the box thinker he is. Then the media can blame a bad roster for Belichick's failure while glossing over the fact that he put that roster together in the first place. At this point the only question is which will Belichick do worse this upcoming season, draft or coach?
