We got it and use it all the time. We haven't had the issue of it flaking and it's incredibly useful. It's funny, when you start using re-usable things like that (bees wrap, reusable grocery bags, reusable dry cleaning bags), you really get amazed at just how much stuff gets tossed in the trash after a single use. Every little bit helps.
