Yes, and that works with the rest of his movies except for Inland Empire. That movie is extremely tedious imo. The Turn Horse I believe is just a metaphor for eternal recurrence, but I am sure there is more to it. Inland had some composite concepts. That's why the rabbit family was in it. Lynch just stuffed it in from an idea for a short or a short he had filmed. If you try to make greater meaning of it, you'll just fry your brain. I didn't understand Inland Empire, but that isn't the only reason I dislike it. I found it very annoyingly filmed and it is by far his most self indulgent movie. It seems to be made only for hardcore David Lynch fans and probably feels alienating to most other people.
