Friends is probably the most extreme example. All 6 of the cast members made the leap, though for most of them it was short lived. Remember Ed? Matt LaBlanc's baseball monkey movie.
I feel sorry for Matt LaBlanc.
I do think he can act, but he’s typecast as the moron. Or goofy comedian guy.
I mean, he’s no Marlon Brando, but I feel like he could have been at least a good supporting actor. Sort of like James Marsden. The guy from “Enchanted”, “Hop” “Sonic” and the fiancé who loses the girl in “The Notebook” and “Superman Returns”...
