I had said before that Snyder would need to be insane to not have watched the Whedon cut if only to see what he can improve on it. And even if he didn't see it, at least he should have seen all the different comments about it so he would know what to address. Not much to address. Snyder’s footage was shot first. Sure, he did film additional photography for the Snyder Cut, but that was only for a single scene towards the end that’s supposed to set up a hypothetical future movie. There are lots of things you can address post production. VFX shots and enhancements, coloring, pacing issues, etc. He can move the scenes around, he can remove scenes that people didn't like, he can reshoot specific scenes if absolutely necessary, he can add CGI enhancements if necessary, etc.
