Lost in Translation Ghostbusters Groundhog Day Tootsie Broken Flowers Ghostbusters II The Man Who Knew too Little I’m a Bill Murray aficionado. This is how I rank them as far as his performance. Not just quality of movie. 1. “Groundhog Day” 10/10. This is his best vessel as a leading role, and overall film. You’ll be hard pressed to find an actor perfect COMEDY, DRAMA, INTROSPECTIVE, etc... he nails each phase. It’s a romance, drama, comedy, action, deep thought. Maybe one of the most perfect films I’ve ever seen. 2. “Lost in Translation.” 9.5/10. Got robbed of an Oscar for his role as Bob Harris. 3. “Ghostbusters” 9/10. His best comedy of all time. Still to this day. The first 45 minutes is the best collaboration of comedians on the big screen ever. 4. Tootsie. 8.5/10. 5. “Broken Flowers”. 8/10. Most underrated film of his career. 6. “Ghostbusters II.” 7/10. 7. “The Man Who Knew Too Little.” 6/10. That awkward 90s phase where he went from making Ivan Reitman and Harold Ramis movies to doing B level comedies. Glad he found Wes Anderson and Sofia Coppola.
