I liked it. Chamberlain was having a good time but Herbet Lom steals the movie. Sharon Stone once remarked that her contribution to these two films consisted of "a bad hairdo running through the jungle". John Rhys-Davies was amazed that Herbert Lom had agreed to act in this film. According to Richard Chamberlain, Sharon Stone was extremely difficult to work with to the point that many of the cast and crew didn't want to talk to her. At one point during production, crew members urinated on the bathtub in her trailer, it was only when she stepped in her milk bath that she noticed the strong odor. According to Richard Chamberlain, when he asked about the film's budget he was told it was about $5 million. It was, he stated, "more like $2.50". Herbert Lom is decent as the comedy villain, but he is wasted imo. He barely registers because the writing of everything is so generic. He sort of overcomes the script with his usual Herbert Lom Pink Panther type dumb villain act, but not enough to elevate the movie in any significant way.
