Amen. TDKR didn't even feel like it was a part of the same universe. Probably Nolan's worst film. Really? How so? The story made no sense; the President is involved in a Batman story; the scale of everything was taken up ten notches (exploding football fields and nuclear bombs?) when, if anything, it should've been smaller and more personal. The studio had to convince Nolan to make the film in the first place, and it really shows. The entire 'plot' to TDKR completely undermines and destroys what was one of the all time great movie endings in the final moments of TDK. Begins and TDK are incredible films, I simply pretend TDKR never happened. It's poorly written garbage, it's obvious Nolan had lost interest in the subject matter.
