I don't see anything wrong with a video game of Citizen Kane, besides the fact that I think that would be a very boring video game. Point being that you are asking about movies, so why bring up video games at all?

My point was that The Godfather is already something of a franchise, so I don’t know if people would be that outraged if it got remade. People would definitely be mad, but I’d assume they’d be more mad if that happened with CK.

A remake of The Godfather would be more bothersome to me than a remake of Citizen Kane and also more pointless, regardless of being a franchise.
