I thought Maleketh's motives were pretty clear. Darkness is his ideal version of the universe. It's where they are most comfortable living. I don't think there is any other explanation needed really. But I don't know what villains you think were camped up as a joke. All of the MCU villains are great in my opinion. I love them all.
But I actually love the Darcy moments, even during the final fight, and especially when the hammer comes flying by.
I think the main gripe people have is that thing they did that science is Magic in Asgard and incorporated a lot of Sci-Fi elements in the design of the wepons, vehicles ETC instead of Medieval Fantastic. As in the comics they really are GODS, here, Odin says we are not gods we live we fuck we die (i know he didnt say fuck but i don't remember the line) just like humans and loki responds give or take 5000 years. In the comics they really are the gods of the north not some alien dudes that were mistaken by gods by the vikings. This was made i think for overly christian people to swallow the pill that a major hollywood movie has a pagan GOD being the hero that does not give two shits to christ and all that equally unbeliavable mythos.
Actually i would like to see Marvel adding the MIGHTY CHRIST in the avengers fighting forces of evil. His greatest weapon being the other cheek move. Whenever someone slaps him he unleashes THE OTHER CHEEK and banishes them to HELL! Oh and his father could try to take on Galactus or some Celestial dude. Not to mension the throwing crown of thorns, that would do some damage.
Better yet put him on DC and let him fight Supes. I would pay for that.
lol, Christians, lol
Although I have no interest to catering to religious fantasies, I do actually like the, their aliens angle. I think it plays better on screen.
