If Laettner misses, they lose.  If Chalmers misses, they lose.  If Jenkins misses, they go to OT.  These are all great clutch shots, but when you're separating the best from the best, you have to start splitting hairs.  The stakes were highest for the guys whose shots kept them from losing.  Jenkins shot won them the title, but the worst that happens is they go to OT.  He had nothing to lose with the ball in his hands.
