Well, they’re not gonna be every day unis. It’s like when the Padres wear camouflage or teams have green St. Patrick’s Day jerseys or the pink breast cancer football stuff. While they’re an abomination I don’t think you’ll see them every day. The legacies of Rich German and George Scott are safe. Well, the Padres wear camouflage because of all of the military based in San Diego, and teams wearing green on St Patrick's Day makes sense. Not what yellow and blue have to do with the Red Sox, so it's a real bad look. I don't care if it's for one day or 365 days. IT'S FUCKING STUPID. You see, that's why our society is getting more and more fucked. Tradition gets steamrolled and people say "So what, it's only a day" or "It doesn't effect the overall picture". Apathy leads to darkness. "Hey, it's only a couple of Jews being persecuted, not a big deal". That's how fascism builds momentum. I should've posted the article, it's an homage to the Boston Marathon. I agree with you 100% though, like I said earlier in the thread, I don't care if it's just for a weekend, it's stupid. Are the Celtics going to start wearing BU, BC, Harvard and Northeastern colors every year during the Beanpot? It's idiotic.
