I'll give the edge to Taika Waititi. James Gunn went a little too self-indulgent with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 whereas the comedy in Thor: Ragnarok flowed naturally except for that one moment when Korg jokes about Asgard's destruction, which we could have done without.
