Ignoring his portrayal of Brock, how would you compare them strictly in the Venoms suits? Obviously Tom Hardy, but isn't it just all cgi when he is Venom? He is like 7 feet tall. The worst aspect of the Venom in Spider-Man 3 is that he is skinny. The one thing Venom gets right is the look of the character. I don't think Tom Hardy or Topher Grace are particularly good in the role, though Tom Hardy is technically well cast. I think Christopher Meloni would have been perfect for the role, he played a violent psychopath in Oz that would been perfect for Brock/Venom.
