I haven't seen any shortage, around here. But, I know that there was a recent post about it. It's a good thing to keep in mind, should a shortage occur. These kinds of purchases can mean great savings. One on my favorite condiments/ingredients is "Kitchen Bouquet." It adds to browning, during cooking, and has a slight caramel essence to it. My Dad used it in so many gravies and sauces, and he brushed a bit on almost all meats that were to be baked/roasted. The only bottles that I've ever seen in markets is the 4 OZ., which has been creeping up in price to an average of the $6.00 range. I found it online, at 1 quart for about $15. The last time I ordered it was about a year ago, and I have almost 1/2 bottle left. I just looked, for purposes of this post, and see that you must order a 2 quart minimum, now. That runs $26, which is still a huge savings. I don't think it goes "bad," so storage space would be the biggest draw-back to that. www.amazon.com/Kitchen-Bouquet-Browning-Seasoning-Sauce/dp/B00KVVZ6X4/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2GQ266BQP9PL7&dchild=1&keywords=kitchen+bouquet+browning+and+seasoning+sauce&qid=1618177982&s=grocery&sprefix=Kitchen+%2Cgrocery%2C254&sr=1-6
