GOTG is out of top 3. Might be out of top 5.
Does BATB hold it's slim lead over F8?
Does any movie squeeze F8 or BATB out of the top three?
Assuming SW:LJ will be #1, I think that possibly DM3 will get #3.
POTC will need a better domestic than F8 to crack top 3, and that will not happen.
Transformer also will need a better domestic than AOE, and that will only happen with good reviews.
Any other possibility?
Beauty and the Beast should keep its lead, it's actually making more money than Fast 8 now. BATB made around $7 million last weekend to Fast 8's $5.5 million.
Except for Star Wars which will obviously do it, I'd be surprised if any other movie this year we're to surpass Fast 8.
Pirates 5 won't do it. Transformers 5 most likely won't do it. Spider-man definitely won't do it.
Justice League I actually be wouldn't be surprised if that made less money than Batman Vs Superman. That won't do it because doing so would mean it would have to out gross Civil War which is unrealistic.
So the only other movie that could do it is Despicable Me 3. That I'd say has the best chance of making the Top 3.
