I can give you countless examples of "gayface" from Will & Grace to Modern Family. It's the only portrayal of gay males in media. And don't get me started on the objectification of lesbians for straight male titillation. That's very different than "blackface". "Blackface" is an obvious lampoon.
"Gayface" is so ingrained in our homophobic culture that even gays and liberals welcome it as liberation. It's very different.
All that's happening here is that liberals like you can feel good while you laugh at stereotypes of black men as criminals and gays as buffoons because you rail against some silly theatrical gimmick called "blackface".
