I’ve seen the first four so I’m not totally caught up, but I tend to agree actually. They definitely aren’t the villains, but they make some bad calls. The entire show as a whole has an issue with dealing with these things.
Walker is kind of a dick and that kill at the end of E4 was just straight up murder, but the show keeps wanting us to love Zemo and this obviously terrible Karli girl while doing everything it can to vilify Walker.
Sam and Bucky are trying to do the “right” thing to a fault. They’re letting terrorists run free and keep on killing innocents because...Karli is cute and Zemo is smart?
I can get the latter. Zemo had a role to play, of course he was going to turn, but it was a calculated risk that backfired. Hating Walker from the get-go and subverting him at every turn while simultaneously simping for a terrorist that literally admits to having no remorse for her murderous actions is just pure lunacy.
This is one thing I’ve noticed about the MCU - morals/ethics only count when it’s convenient.
