Have you at least seen True Lies?
I'd say The Dark Knight is more comparable to Terminator 2: Judgment Day in terms of impact and popularity than Speed.
Not really a fan of it. The action is great, but almost every character is annoying and the story ends up being more frustrating than anything else imo.
I'd probably give it a 5/10.
Well we are not on the same page LOL. I think True Lies is extremely entertaining and often very funny action movie. I don't find the characters annoying in a bad way, but I can sort of see where you are coming from.
8/10 for me.
Not sure what you mean by the story being frustrating, but you don't have to explain your reason to me.
The movie is a comedy the way I see it and part of why it works so well as a comedy I think is actually the reason you dislike it. The scene with Arnold and Paxton is one of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in anything for example.
Arnold is a douchebag in the movie who treats his family as if they are an inconvenience to him almost and this causes his goofy bored wife to find something elsewhere and then him becoming hypocritically jealous. The movie is about them becoming closer and the very ending is very funny, where they are now 2 agents who work together.
That is the way I see the movie anyway.
