From what I've read, McQueen banged too many wives of important Hollywood types, I get that......but still.....
They couldn't throw him a bone and at least give him a nomination for THAT performance?

That slot should have gone to Gene Hackman for Scarecrow. This is primo Hackman, which is hard to beat.
