What song are you listening to right now?

I guess the closest I come, to having a favorite Aussie musician/artist, is probably either Nick Cave or Kylie Minogue (even better, when the two make music together). Sure, I know of INXS, AC/DC and a few others, like Savage Garden, they were huge back in the mid/late 90s, and I really enjoyed their 1997 hit, To the Moon and Back. Yet, I never quite got around to check up any further of their music.
Then I really loved the song, Great Southern Land, by Icehouse. Another group, I have often been thinking of, check upon further.

But beside that, I guess I am not that "updated".

However, I do sure love the Aussie films of the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Specially withing the cult-movie genre, and so many great talents arrived out of that period, yet few of the films the directors, writers or actors made, reached quite the same "edge" or "style", when they moved onto Hollywood, and got bigger money to work from. Their earlier films, just had a certain special to them, which few of the Hollywood produced ones, managed to re-capture. Not saying they turned all "bad", but something was kind of missing.

I guess the one I prefered, were again the last one from your post, Leonardo’s Bride - Even When I'm Sleeping.
Never heard any of them before, but the latter one, reminds me of the days of 1996-97 and early morning MTV videos, just before school started.
I guess another Aussie name, that hit off big around that time, were Natalia Imbruglia, with Torn. So many versions of that song, but few enjoyed more success than the 1997 version.
