Who are you pulling for in the Kentucky Derby? My favorite is Midnight Bourbon because he is a very naughty horse. WKD likes Medina Spirit because its the only horse Bob Baffert has in this Derby. And they're off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Baffert wins again 🐎! WKD always chooses horses that Baffert trains, he's a big fan. Let's hope for a triple crown. Racing isn't as popular as it used to be. Our old haunts are no more, Arlington Park (a gorgeous track) is for sale, there's talk that the Chi Bears might build a stadium there. Balmoral Park in Crete, Il. where we used to watch the sulkies on a summer evening is now an equestrian center. I think Sportsman/Hawthorne Park is the only track left in the Chicago area. Sad.
