Nah, that would be Blink 182 (or any number of those awful late 90s/early 2000s pop punk bands)

Aren't Green Day the parent of all that god awful line of American pop punk bands though. Can't stand the genre. Takes something interesting and just dilutes it to mass public appeal. Maybe biased being part of the original scene in London 77/8 , it just seems to be a white middle class rebellion with dollar signs attached.
As I say though, I'm probably a biased old fart, but proud of it.
