He hated the experience of taking part in it and thought it was beneath him to lend their voice to an overlong toy commercial, I believe were his words. It's hilarious when actors take a paycheck then act like they're above it all by complaining about the material. Like when Jim Carrey took a role in Kick-Ass 2 and then whined about all the violence. You aren't fooling anyone; if you have issues with the material, don't take the work. I hate those Transformers movies, but I respect Hopkins thoughts on being in it. He took the money and ran, it was all fun to him.
