From what I gather, the Knicks are decent right now, but it's gotta be the Knicks for the NBA. They have been AWFUL pretty much for my entire life, other than an odd little playoff run here and there. Terrible drafts, awful free agent signings, organizational chaos from its asshole owner to incompetent front office personnel, they are a joke. Yet the 3rd most valuable North American sport franchise
And tickets to Knicks games are hard to get (at least, pre-pandemic they were). Same with the Cowboys, who I'm assuming are still the most valuable NFL franchise, even though they have been garbage more often than not over the past 2 decades.
