If you have seen the film The Exorcist or heard its theme then you have heard part of Tubular Bells. Amazing album I got that CD, it's totally tubular dude. It was a phenomenal movie, almost everyone older has seen it in the theater, on television, or on DVD. If not, they have heard about it more than they would like. The audience for the album is surprisingly smaller. That's why so many don't get the reference, "Grand piano, reed and pipe, glockenspiel ... " The album got a Grammy and was a chart topper here and there. |
