The tagline states “Catch the excitement. Catch the adventure. Catch the Hawk.” Up until now, only knew of it by reputation. It’s all rather baffling. It isn’t particularly funny nor exciting. Bruce Willis does his perpetual wise-ass routine. He and Danny Aiello have a few good moments together. I actually find it very funny. It flopped because it was marketed as a heist action/thriller when in reality it was a zany action comedy. A lot of 'that guy' actors show up in this movie, but I can't believe they got James Coburn to do it. Seems everyone is trying to outdo one another in the laughs department. Sandra Bernhard and Richard E. Grant dial it up to 100, Andie MacDowell does her best dolphin impression, etc.. I will say the moment that offered a few laughs was when Willis and Aiello have been tranquilized.
