I actually find it very funny. It flopped because it was marketed as a heist action/thriller when in reality it was a zany action comedy. A lot of 'that guy' actors show up in this movie, but I can't believe they got James Coburn to do it. Seems everyone is trying to outdo one another in the laughs department. Sandra Bernhard and Richard E. Grant dial it up to 100, Andie MacDowell does her best dolphin impression, etc.. I will say the moment that offered a few laughs was when Willis and Aiello have been tranquilized. It's completely out of control. There are villains named the Mario Brothers and other villains named after candy bars. Butterfinger asks Kaplan, "You want me to rape 'em?" It's all so bizarre. The movie makes no sense, I love it. Willis plays a cat burglar whose shtick is to belt out songs as he pulls a job, because who wants to be quiet when robbing a place? The movie even breaks the fourth wall.
