One of the very first things you must do when writing a script is to decide what kind of movie you're making. Bruce Willis, Steven E. De Souza, Daniel Waters and Robert Kraft didn't do that with HUDSON HAWK. Many nonsensical moments indicate that this is supposed to be a parody, but other moments indicate that it's supposed to be a serious comedy. Also, is this supposed to be for adults or children? The language and themes are R-rated, but some characters, places, objects and even sound effects come from cartoons. I was surprised that Willis, Richard Grant and Sandra Bernhard were nominated for the Razzies. Not that they didn't deserve it, but I felt that Andie McDowell's performance was worse than all of theirs. 1/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
