Viewed The Sound of Music for the first time! Any classic..

Always enjoyed this film, it's been a favorite since I was a kid. I haven't watched it in a long time though. One thing that always confused me when I was younger was that I always wondered (based off of circa 1980's borders when I watched the film a lot) how von Trapp could have been an officer in the Austrian navy. I didn't realize until later that at the time of the First World World, Austria Hungary had a large navy and access to the Adriatic Sea.

A classic I have yet to see that I want to is From Here to Eternity. Never saw that one for some reason.
