I will take a shot for the first time:
Gentleman's Agreement (1947) / Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959)
A New York-based liberal magazine journalist decides to pose as a Jew himself to experience first-hand the anti-semitism practised in the Deep South. His initial experiences in the small hick town in rural Florida shake him to the core. As if this is not enough, one night he witnesses in a swamp a poacher being attacked and killed by what looks like a mutated giant leech. He alerts the sheriff but is met with disbelief and derision. More disappearances follow in the next few days. As all the missing are Gentiles, the sheriff is quick to point fingers at the local Jew community. Now the journalist has to save his (as he still hasn't revealed that he is a Gentile) name and the Jews by scouring the swampland and blowing up the monsters with dynamite. In the end, after destroying the monsters, he reveals his secret and writes a series of articles that expose the locals' hatred towards the Jews.
