I like how he blames the company and not the guy who wrote both films and had input into the characters use in the Avengers movies, probably because he knows Disney is likely done with him after GOTG 3 where as he already tied his wagon to Gunn and doesn't want to piss him off by calling him out, but he isn't wrong they left a lot on the table with the character. Yup. Pretty sure it wasn't Disney's choice to make him the comedic relief of the GOTG. Doubt it was Fiege's idea either. Why not blame the director who seemed directly responsible for directing his character to be like that? If it makes him feel better, James Gunn did Mantis even dirtier than he did Drax.
