He asked Admin if they could ban him from the Politics board but they said they couldn’t and that’s why he self deleted. Told me in a PM I just read. Hope he doesn’t mind me letting other people know.
That's too bad. I guess he didn't trust his own self-control when it comes to staying away from something that he knows will only upset him.
That's something that I've learned over time. You just can't let things said on SM upset you. It's feckin hard but it's a state that's gotta be reached if you are to remain on it and remain sane. Instead I'll just talk to people who are reasonable (even if their views are in opposition to mine) or know quite well that if I'm gonna engage with a fool I do so with the sole intension of winding them up. It's not pretty and I'm not proud of it but if you feel the irresistible urge to engage with these folk, and some times you do, at least do it on your own terms.
