Nice to see some love for Kingpin (1996), which has to be one of the funniest sports movies, of all time.

Another great sports movie, one I believe they actually made up, a whole new one, just to be able of making a film, and is the underrated Rutger Hauer 80s movie, The Blood of Heroes (1989), which I think were both directed and written by one the guys behind the Blade Runner script.

For it is written: the inhabitants of the Earth have been made drunk with her blood. And I saw her sent upon a hairy beast and she held forth a golden chalice full of the filthiness of fornications. And upon her forehead was written: "Behold I am the great mother of harlots and all abominations of the Earth."
