I wouldn't hold my breath that the company is going to shift gears. It seems the old adages "birds of a feather flock together" and "different strokes for different folks" is demonstrated in today's cultural media.
They don't want to maintain traditions.
If you want Italian pizza, is it best to hire Italians who know something about it. If you want the genuine article.
They don't want to hire the people who would make the best productions in the tradition of the company's founder. They like using the name for advertising but they pretty much hate everything about the founder's content. The nephew of Disney had hopes to continue the legacy of the company in some capacity but the family was sidelined after the Fantasia 2000 was done--that was Roy Disney Jr's project.
