Brooks cherries

I'm looking forward to the Rainier cherries, last year I bought a cherry that was a cross between the Rainier and some other cherry (not Brooks) that was very good, I forgot its name. I haven't seen the Brooks cherry here but next week I'm going to Whole Foods for some of my favorite chocolate chip cookies (brown butter) so I will ask them if they have any.
I don't like cherries like Bing because they always taste like rotten fruit to me.
