This thread is from February, and, tonight, I'm finally going to try bacon-in-the-oven! I'm going to do a BLT, with a side of 3 bean salad. I bought the salad at the deli. I have plenty of time, so I'll to the low-slow method of 30 minutes, at 250. How did it work out? After 1/2 hour, it was still too limp for me. So, I cranked the heat up to 300 for a few more minutes. I didn't see a great difference from stove top. One thing I'll try next time is putting the slices on a rack, rather than flat on the pan.
