Which do you think has more riding on it? Homecoming because it's their initial solo Spidey outing, they're sharing the IP, etc., or Rag because Thor 2 sucked/underperformed? I'll say Homecoming. If Homecoming is a dud, we're not likely to see Spider-Man in a solo film for a long time. Marvel and Sony have a lot riding on that film. And those charlatans from Disney get to sit back and win either way. What a Faustian bargain those fools at Sony made, crawling on their hands and knees to the House of Mouse and handing them back the rights to the comic book property with the most profit potential besides Batman. I still don't get it anymore than I'll ever understand what in the actual blue fuck George Lucas was thinking selling them Star Wars for a paltry four bill. But I digress... |
