Second, I'm not looking for girlfriend of the year points. I don't mind seeing two or three movies a year that I'm not super interested in, to be nice. I've seen movies with friends, siblings, and such that weren't movies I wanted to see, so they didn't have to go alone. I'm sorry you've never had anyone in your life willing to see a movie with you, just to keep you company. Sounds lonely.
Oh please the boyfriend or girlfriend is the try out phase for marriage not the film buddy phase. You didn't actually see a movie with the person settling for you, you used your boyfriend as an excuse to then go on and bitch on a dedicated fan forum over a film you had all the power to avoid if you wanted to, big difference.
