Would You Prefer Criticism Of Movies You Love, Or Silence?

I'm completely okay with someone trashing a film that I personally adore or rank highly as a favorite film. It's not "my" film so outside of just having a love for a film doesn't hurt my feelings. I didn't have anything to do with it creatively. I understand why some people might get offended about their opinions being berated but I guess I'm not one of those people. I personally wouldn't attack someone's love for a film but I don't have a problem trashing bad films in general. I enjoy other people's opinions and thoughts about things, it helps to see the subject in a different light if it's constructive. For example, I know quite a few people don't understand why I think Ishtar or Magus are fun films and interesting as both were critically panned.
