well over 100 times but STILL have moments of slight to medium anxiety on the plane when it goes through turbulent areas. Turbulence is normal. As normal as the flapping wings of an aircraft. The annual injury report seems to be about 50 ppl out of about 2 billion fliers, & most of those were ppl ignoring seat belt signs &/or walking about the cabin. Reading about flying from actual airplane captains is quite reassuring. As for those flapping wings... that's their job. If they were stiff, they'd have blown off. yes rationally I know its pretty normal and safe to go through a turbulance and have talked to both captains and cabin staff, but my LIZZARD brain still freaks out a bit when turbulance seems to be “too big” for my taste - which is pretty much anytime the staff is told to sit down and mu butt feels like it actually LIFTS off the seat when the aircraft shakes and drops). I also NEED my captain to sound Super calm when announcing it, hehe, thats really important for me to see the staff calm smiling and hear the captain relaxed
