It will never cease to amaze me how many white folks pretend living somewhere thats overwhelmingly white doesn't mean they are racist. Embrace your hatred of non whites. Yeah, Britain seems to have been a bit better about slavery than many cultures from what I have read. To be fair to anyone who has read into this much more though I haven't read up on it as much.
I am more familiar with slavery in ancient Rome, Greece, Middle East etc. and the Americas, both of which seem to be the worst cases of slavery in history. Though taking slaves from other countries seems to be more an American thing. In Ancient times it was more of an invading country making the people of the invaded country their slaves.
